Great, and then not so great.
The great?
The Collective Soul, Live & Blues Traveller concert I went to a couple weekends ago. Seriously, it was a blast. The show was awesome (except for being told we couldn't stand up in front of our seats. It's a concert!) I had a blast with J, who the next morning left me a voicemail that proved she had as much fun as I- when she could barely talk. I've only been to two concerts so far this summer, and this was by far the better show. I wish HG had been able to go, as I think he would have also had a good time, but alas we had conflicting schedules.
The not so great?
Watching HG crash his motorcycle this weekend. Yup, that sucked big time. He's fine, not cuts, broken bones, nothing but a few bruises and some general soreness. His bike, um, not so fine. We are still waiting for the estimate to come thru, but it's not looking too promising. I was riding my bike, but a few feet further behind him so I had front row seats to the show, and well, I could have done without. What's worst is that it may mean HG or I miss the group benefit ride we were both registered to ride in this coming weekend. He's definitely bummed about that as well. While he can ride my bike, I'm not so sure I want to ride on the back seat of it for 2-4 hours, as it's itty bitty,me never intending for a passenger to ride on it. HG looks forward to the group rides and getting together with everyone, especially since we do it with increased rarity these days as people get busy with other facets of their lives like spouses, children and work.

Oh no! I'm glad he's okay. What happened? What it weather or other cars? That sucks so much. Was he wearing a helmet?
Holy CRAP...I'm glad he's ok. How scary! Is he cool to get back on and go again? I don't know if I would be...but I'm a chicken like that.
